Rest in peace

Hector the Beta, after a life in our household spanning four whole months, passed on.  His death is attributed to a sad accident during a water change.  He was belly-up the next day.

So…I need a new fish.   I could get a female Beta and name her Briseis, (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Briseis) but female Betas are so ugly and boring.

    She was the slave girl Agamemnon and Achilles were fighting about for half the poem. They were such babies.

    I always christen my fish after Iliad characters. Ajax, Agamemnon, and Hector have now all perished.
