I got my sewing machine working, because I found all the pieces.

I’ve had a machine for almost four years now, and this morning I just did my first project on it. It was my 16th birthday present, but that didn’t inspire me, apparently. But where birthday didn’t do anything, Jubilee did. So I made her a pair of babylegs. You’ve got to sew for a kid that does this when she naps:

The weather turned chilly (again) but we’ll see if it holds up. *peers sceptically outside* I’m not out-ruling the possibility of a humid Christmas. Because the earth is warming and all. Despite my current shivering.
But no one will believe she’s 15 yet. No permit, though she looks happy about it.

There’s black bean soup simmering on the stove, with three green peppers chopped up in it. If I won’t eat my vegetables, I’m going to cook them till they’re invisible, thus removing all viable nutritional value, but still achieving eating my vegetables.
She had her first bath by herself last week. She liked it.
